Each strand was braided by the Verdant Keepers, whose hands were stained green by the sap of living memory.

The Chainfall binds its bearer to a single vow of their choosing. Once worn, the relic listens. It weighs the truth of the oath, threads it through its silver veins, and anchors it to the bearer’s spirit. Should the vow be upheld, the leaf‑charms remain cool and luminous. Should it be betrayed, they darken, curling inward like dying foliage.
